Harduk Bahaar ?The Spring of Autumn?

Rejoice, for autumn is here?the unripe ripens!

Delight in the joys of autumn, its blooms of multihued flowers!

The ones who toiled in spring will now reap the harvest.

Delight in the joys of autumn, its blooms of multihued flowers!

?

Rivers, springs, streams and the blue mountain lakes

Had lost their youth to the harsh winter months,

Frozen dreams begin to thaw, new buds appear.

Delight in the joys of autumn, its blooms of multihued flowers!

?

The earth, a bride, beauteous Padmini in a palanquin,

Looks ravishing, decked by the hands of autumn.

Desires blossom in hearts and longings are fulfilled.

Delight in the joys of autumn, its blooms of multihued flowers!

Songs of love pour out from all the birds

And cascades roar in fullness of joy,

While the bee dances to deck up the narcissi.

Delight in the joys of autumn, its blooms of multihued flowers!

The bulbul calls out to the gardener?

Come, fill the vases with bouquets of love,

Dew sprinkles the buds with droplets of light.

Delight in the joys of autumn, its blooms of multihued flowers!

Autumn is the joyful flowering of all I sowed,

The harvest of fruitfulness fills the livelong year

And the wounds of the heart are healed at last.

Delight in the joys of autumn, its blooms of multihued flowers!

In the garden the marigold greets with its colourful abundance.

While the lovers enjoy the Dal in a pleasure boat,

Zareef is blessed with the solace and comfort of a lifetime!
